2026 CMCA Tasmania State Rally Managers
Exeter is a small town located approximately 24 kilometres north of Launceston, Tasmania, Australia. According to the 2016 census, Exeter had a population of 633.
The town is situated within an agricultural area known for orchards, dairy and beef cattle, fruit production, and sheep farming.
The Exeter Methodist Church, constructed from timber and completed in 1861, is regarded as the oldest Methodist Church in Tasmania. Brady's Lookout, located 5 km south of Exeter on the West Tamar Highway, was reportedly used by bushranger Matthew Brady for observing activity below.
Exeter has several businesses within a flat, easy, walking distance of the Rally site, including supermarkets, bakeries, cafés, liquor outlets, dining locations, doctors’ offices, pharmacies, hairdressers, butchers, hardware stores, and others.
